She holds significant leadership roles within the field, currently acting as the Intensive English Programs Coordinator for NAFSA: Association of International Educators and having previously served as a Director of Foreign Languages and Immersion Programs. Her extensive career includes teaching English in Turkey at institutions like Yaşar Üniversitesi and teaching Spanish in the U.S., showcasing her deep cross-cultural and multilingual expertise.
Courtney’s practical work is backed by a robust academic foundation; she is a Ph.D. candidate in English Language Learning and holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction for English speakers of other languages.
