Cancellation Policy

1:1 Session Booking Policy 1. Booking and Scheduling 1:1 sessions can be booked directly through the platform by selecting an available time slot on the teacher or speaking partner’s calendar. All bookings must be made at least 12 hours in advance of the session start time. You may book sessions using Nona Coins, a session credit, or via direct payment depending on your account type and available plans. 2. Rescheduling and Cancellations You may reschedule or cancel a booked session up to 6 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty. To reschedule, please use the reschedule button on your booking page and select a new available time slot. If you cancel within the allowed time window, your credit or Nona Coins will be refunded to your account. 3. Late Cancellations and No-Shows Cancellations made less than 6 hours before the session start time will be considered late cancellations. In this case, your session credit or Nona Coins will not be refunded. No-shows (failure to attend the session without prior notice) will result in no refund and may affect your ability to book future sessions. 4. Teacher/Speaking Partner Cancellations If your teacher or speaking partner cancels a session for any reason, your session credit or Nona Coins will be fully refunded, and we will assist you in rescheduling if desired. In rare cases of emergency or technical issues, we ask for your understanding and will make every effort to offer a replacement session. 5. Session Start and Duration Sessions start promptly at the scheduled time. Please ensure you are logged in and ready. If you are late, the session will continue only for the remaining time of the original slot. Extra time cannot be guaranteed. 6. Time Zone and Reminders All session times are displayed in your local time zone automatically. You will receive email and/or app reminders before your scheduled session. 7. Technical Support Ensure a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and webcam for your session. If a session is significantly disrupted due to a technical issue on our end or your teacher's end, you will receive a full refund or a rescheduled session.
